It’s nice to meet you!

I’m Andrea Goddard, MA, CCC-SLP, a speech-language pathologist based in Mountain View, California. I’ve worked in the field since 2017 and specialize in AAC assessment and therapy for children. I serve families across the Bay Area.

I began working with AAC early in my career working with non-speaking students. I quickly saw the impact it could have—supporting kids not just in asking for things, but in sharing ideas, building relationships, and participating more fully in their world. I prioritize parent coaching and collaboration with teams, because AAC works best when it’s used throughout the day, not just in a therapy session.

I focus on helping children build real, functional communication skills using AAC. My approach is grounded in the belief that learning to communicate starts with feeling safe, regulated, and connected. By using a combination of sensory and behavior-informed strategies, I work to create predictable and supportive environments for clients where communication can grow.

The name Outside Voices reflects my goal: to help children express themselves more fully and take part in the messiness of real communication—whatever that looks like for them.
